From Dog Food To Cleaning Houses.

There is a nice lady who lives in my neighborhood, she caught me outside one day cutting my lawn and started up a conversation.  She asked me what I did, etc., and of course, she instantly pegged me as a computer technician and asked me to come over and take a look at her PC that was acting up.  I finished up the lawn and went over to take a look and help her out.  After a few quick adjustments she was back off and running.  She started to ask me about Internet marketing and SEO etc., as her web site just has not taken off.  I asked her about the site, etc., and she explained to me how she had spent $20,000 for her own web site from a multi level dog food marketing company. She was promised that if she followed three easy steps, her web site would be an instant success, she would be well on her way to financial freedom, etc.  She got worked, hosed, screwed over, taken for a ride, etc.  I instantly got pissed.  One more person lured into the hands of scum bags selling the world and taking people’s life savings.

I rode by the nice lady’s house this AM as I was out for a bike ride and noted her shiny blue van now has a residential cleaning / house cleaning sticker magnet on it.  Good for her I thought, she realized that she had to make money the old fashioned way, by earning it, not by buying into someone else’s multi level marketing scams.  Could she have made the dog food gig work? Possibly, BUT, the point is this: NOTHING HAPPENS OVERNIGHT. Without hard work, passion and drive you will NOT be making thousands buy buying into nonsense.

The Internet has clearly opened the door to plenty of complete idiot scammers only seeking to take advantage of people’s LACK on knowledge about the Internet.  If it sounds to be good to be true, it is.
