Linchpin By Seth Godin

Listening to Seth Godin’s Linchpin book on my mp3 player.  So far, I’m enjoying this book a great deal (I listen while I’m at the Gym so I don’t need to listen to the obnoxious be-bop). Seth Godin is a brilliant marketer and through his book Linchpin is advising us all to be the ‘essential’ piece of our business.  The irreplaceable one, the grease that lubricates the machine.  One way to do this, he recommends, is by being a giver.  The Internet has certainly opened the door for us all to be givers, to feed our audience, to be a ‘linchpin’ or essential piece.

With so many jobs being outsourced overseas and so much economic hardship in our Nation, this book can help open your eyes to a new way of marketing and being valuable to your company and your clients. More to come as I progress.
